Matrix Repatterning

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching

Matrix Repatterning is a form of manual therapy that can restore structural balance to the body by eliminating pain at the molecular level.  The physical effects of past injuries such as falls, impacts and sport injuries are absorbed through the dense structures of the body.  These dense structures include, the bones of the skeleton and fluid filled organs.  The cells within these structures can expand and become rigid with an injury.  We call this a ‘primary restriction’.  A primary restriction causes the surrounding muscles, ligaments, joints and other soft tissues to become strained and painful.  After an injury has occurred the area of the primary restriction may be painless but the problem or strains show up in the parts of the body that is compensating for the primary injured area.  We will locate these ’restricted’ areas of tension and release them through a gentle containment pressure. Matrix Repatterning can unravel layers of injury that have accumulated through years of sport and bring lasting pain relief,  bringing  the body back into balance to help you perform  at  your  optimal  level!

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching involves the muscles being contracted and lengthened at the same time. The arms and legs are put through specific linear, rotational and diagonal patterns in order to stretch as many muscle fibers as possible.Ki-Hara is safe and effective because the muscles are only taken as far as the individual can resist.Strength and flexibility must go hand in hand in order to keep muscles functioning properly. This translates to increased power, speed and strength.
Resistance  Stretching can:
*  create  immediate  gains  in  flexibility

 *  improves  performance and  recovery

*  creates  more  powerful,  explosive  and  core  stable  movements

 *creates  a  more  balanced  body

*removes   chronic  stress  and  injuries

*removes  painful  muscle  tension  and  helps  realign  the  body  to  improve  posture.

Lymphatic System Therapy

Lymphatic System Therapy

Lymphatic System Therapy

One of the main functions of the lymphatic system is to get rid of cellular waste products in the body.  If the lymphatic system isn’t flowing well cellular waste products can’t get out, therefore, nutrients can’t get into the cells to help with cellular regeneration.

Lymphatic System Therapy:

>helps to reduce inflammation swelling and bruising in the body

>improves range of motion

>increases energy levels

>decreases overall healing time

>improves recovery time between training and competitions

Red Light Therapy

Lymphatic System Therapy

Lymphatic System Therapy

Red Light Therapy is a fairly new modality.

One of the main functions of Red Light Therapy is the stimulation of the production of ATP.   The ATP helps with the  energy production of the cell.  This ATP production leads to optimal functioning within the muscle cell.

Red Light Therapy reduces inflammation by increasing blood flow.  This increased blood flow helps with recovery time both in training and injury rehabilitation.

A  great video on how Matrix Repatterning can bring your body back into balance

Our Services

Assessment

In our assessment we will take a comprehensive history of injuries you have sustained through your sport and everyday life.

We will conduct specific Range of Motion, Flexibility and Strength tests.

We will perform a Matrix Repatterning Assesment to identify the areas of primary restriction.

The Session

After we locate the primary restrictions throughout your body we will proceed to release them through a gentle hands on form of  therapy.  Matrix Repatterning is a very gentle therapy that relaxes the body.

Resistance Stretching will  be introduced into the sessions when  the athlete‘s body is ready to be  stretched.

After the Session

We recommend no exercising or practicing that day in order for the body to recuperate from the session.

Mashing and Resistance Stretching

Assisted Mashing and Resistance Stretching for athletes.
Mashing is a form of bodywork that uses the feet to compress the muscles!  See info below on how to learn how to Mash!

Resistance Stretching is a form stretching that incorporates contracting and lengthening the muscle at the same time.  Please see www.ki-Hara.ca for more information.

Insoles and Socks

The Technology

It starts with a special tactile pattern...

Known as Voxx HPT, this pattern is specially woven into each of the wellness and performance products. Contact with it triggers a neural response in the brainstem that helps manage pain, as well as improve mobility and balance.

When you wear one of our socks, insoles, or patches, contact with the Voxx HPT pattern triggers a neuro response that sends information from the receptors on the bottom of your feet (or the inside of your forearm) to your brainstem.

After processing that information, the Central Nervous System (CNS) distributes commands to your peripheral nervous system, affecting various functions in your body, from pain regulation to motor control and balance.

The effect is instant, ranging from improved balance, mobility and pain management to better energy level and recovery process, ultimately a happier, healthier l
